The family of Diego Fernández Lima, the teenager who was murdered in 1984 and whose bones were found 41 years later in the house of his former schoolmate Cristian Graf, is calling for people to attend his wake after the justice system handed over his remains. According to the Argentine News Agency, this Friday, November 21, from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, those who wish to say their final goodbyes to the young man can do so at Nardi Sepelios, located on Álvarez Thomas and Arizona avenues. "We are going to say goodbye, as he deserves, to my beloved brother Diego. We await you," said Javier Fernández Lima, the victim's brother. This Wednesday, in an exclusive interview with NA, the family member confirmed that the justice system, after concluding the investigation, handed over the remains of the teenager found in May 2025 in the backyard of the house where his former schoolmate, Cristian Graf, lives. Javier stated that although it was "a special day," it is "something I would not wish on anyone." How the case proceeds After the discovery of the remains, prosecutor Martín López Perrando accused Graf of covering up the crime, for making various conjectures about the appearance of the victim's body in his backyard. However, at the end of October, Judge Alejandro Litvack issued a dismissal, a resolution that was appealed by the prosecution and the plaintiffs, and there may not be any news on it until mid-December.
